As part of the "AI for Social Change" project, led by TechSoup and carried out in France by Mednum and Renaissance Numérique, we are publishing a second article on the HiveMind project platform to address the topic of AI literacy for CSOs.

What strategies can NGOs use to develop genuine AI literacy within their organizations? To address the many challenges posed by the adoption of AI, NGOs can draw on both individual and collective strategies, as we demonstrated in our report “Developping AI Literacy for an Inclusive and Empowering Society.”

In this second article, written by Jean-François Lucas and Martin Lepinette, we present a practical roadmap based on six pillars for developing effective AI literacy within NGOs. This article follows our first piece, which addressed the legal, strategic, and democratic imperatives related to mastering AI for civil society organizations.
