Nicolas Chagny

Nicolas Chagny has been a member of the Internet Society and its French branch since 2010. He was elected president of the Internet Society (ISOC) France in 2015, following completion of the Next Generation Leader programme, run by the Internet Society and DiploFoundation. Since 2015, Nicolas Chagny has been a member of the National Consultative Commission on Human Rights.
With a postgraduate degree in computer science, he began his career when the internet became widely available. An early web entrepreneur (1997), he founded the editorial agency Médiasactu/Radioactu, specialising in B2B (media) and entertainment (B2C) content, before joining the pioneering digital agency Les Argonautes, where he became Managing Director in 2010. In 2016, he joined the Makheia group, now known as Netmédia Group.
In 2014, Nicolas Chagny helped found WebForce3, a social economy company recognised as being of social utility (ESUS certified), and joined the operational team at a senior management level in mid-2019. WebForce3 is a network of digital schools (initial training, continuing education and apprenticeship training) that trains students in the professions of developer, systems and network technician, and web marketer. WebForce3 is one of the schools of Groupe 39, a member of the Collège de Paris network.
