Renaissance Numérique at Quandela

On Friday 17 July, members of Renaissance Numérique took part in a tour of the premises of Quandela, a start-up specialising in photonic quantum computers.

As part of its working group on “French and European strategic autonomy in quantum infrastructure”, the members of Renaissance Numérique were delighted to visit the start-up Quandela.

Quandela

Founded in 2017, Quandela is a global leader in full-stack photonic quantum computing. At the heart of its technology lies the use of single photons to design modular quantum computers. The company develops the entire value chain (hardware, software, and cloud access).

This visit provided our members with an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the company’s technology and use cases, to discuss its strategic challenges and development, and to explore its position within the European and international quantum ecosystem.
