“OFF-The-Record Meeting” with Marc-Antoine Brillant

Renaissance Numérique's "OFF-The-Record Meeting" enable members of the think tank to engage in privileged dialogue with key players in digital public policy at the national and European levels.

On Tuesday, 17 February 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming Marc-Antoine Brillant, head of the Vigilance and Protection against Foreign Digital Interference Service (VIGINUM) since october 2023.

This meeting provided a unique opportunity for our members to discuss VIGINUM’s mission, the state of the information threat, and the strategies in place to preserve the integrity of French digital public debate from foreign interference. A range of ideas and solutions were discussed, both on a technical and operational level (algorithm reading, inter-allied cooperation, etc.) and in terms of raising awareness and providing support to improve the public’s skills (awareness campaigns on foreign threats, a guide to raising awareness of the information threat).
