“OFF-The-Record Meeting” with Yann LeCun

The Renaissance Numérique Chatham House Club aims to enable think tank members to engage in privileged dialogue with key players in digital public policy. Since its launch, it has welcomed more than 30 figures involved in French and European digital policy. These meetings provide an opportunity for privileged exchanges with Renaissance Numérique members and also serve as a forum for sharing the think tank's insights.

On Thursday, June 15, Renaissance Numérique and Meta are organizing a meeting with Yann Le Cun, Vice President and Chief AI Scientist at Meta, as part of the think tank’s Chatham House Club.

This meeting will be an opportunity to discuss the latest developments in generative artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) and to question the innovative nature of these developments. Are they revolutionary? To what extent are they changing the game? Beyond the technological aspects, what impact could the emergence of generative AI in the lives of millions of people have on society? Will this “socialization” of innovation have a greater impact on the economy than before? What challenges does this raise in terms of security and openness of AI models?

These are just some of the questions our members will have the privilege of asking during this exclusive meeting.
