Charles Bouffier

Charles Bouffier specialises in IP/IT and media law. He advises major players in the digital and media sectors on their strategic projects, both in contractual matters and litigation. Through regular secondments, he has had the opportunity to assist major software publishers, IT service providers and prestigious clients. He also has a strong focus on issues related to the regulation and protection of innovation (patents/know-how), AI and Web 3 (metaverses and NFTs).

Charles has also developed a strong litigation practice in technical, IT and digital matters, with a preference for complex proceedings (in futurum investigative measures / seizure of counterfeit goods / substantive actions / legal expert reports). In particular, he has been practising IT litigation (software infringement, software compliance, project failure) for nearly 15 years, representing major IT groups, independent software and video game publishers, and clients.

Charles has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2010 and joined Racine as a partner in 2022.
