Astrid Van de Blankevoort

Astrid is a student at Sciences Po Paris studying European Affairs with a specialisation in culture. She is particularly interested in the digital sector, and in the regulation of online platforms. As part of her certificate in gender equality and public policy at Sciences Po, she contributed to the National Digital Council’s report “Éveil à la vie affective, relationnelle et sexuelle. Donner le pouvoir d’agir” (Awakening to affective, relational and sexual life. Giving people the power to act), which sets out the findings and recommendations for combating online violence and enriching educational content on affective life.

With a German-speaking background, she is keenly interested in European issues. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Sciences Po’s french german campus, located in Nancy, and spent an exchange year at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
